About: Round Top Film Festival offers a platform for both emerging and  established filmmakers, to share their work with an engaged audience. With a focus on creativity, education, and community, RTFF curates a thoughtful program that inspires filmmakers and film lovers alike, while inviting audiences to experience the distinctive charm and hospitality of Round Top.

Pay: This is currently an unpaid internship. We will work with your university to arrange for credit hours, if applicable.

Location: Central Texas preferred, but majority of work will be remote.

Overall scope: Join the RTFF team as a Marketing Intern and immerse yourself in the exciting realm of film festival marketing and communications! In this role, you will assist with social media outreach, contribute to festival events, and help manage relationships with sponsors and partners. Specific projects may include database management, researching potential partnership opportunities, and writing marketing proposals. You’ll also engage with universities, collaborating with professors and professional organizations. Experience the festival first hand by supporting day-to-day operations during RTFF and be part of creating memorable experiences for our community!

Term: Fall

Qualifications: Applicant should have solid communication skills and a willingness to work. Communications, Business or Radio/TV/Film majors preferred. Event and spreadsheet experience are a plus.

Overall scope: Dive into the dynamic world of nonprofit film festivals with our Grant Research Internship at the Round Top Film Festival (RTFF)! As an intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our grant research and application process. You’ll uncover funding opportunities, assist in crafting compelling proposals, and gain valuable insights into the workings of a nonprofit film festival. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to create a reusable grant library, complete with templates, boilerplate language, and past applications, ensuring future success for our festival.

Term: Summer & Fall

Qualifications: Applicant should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Familiarity with Google Drive and Sheets is beneficial. No prior grant experience needed, but enthusiasm to learn is required.
